Plastic Surgeon

Gregory Mueller, MD, FACS

Dr. Mueller is originally from the rural community of Ogallala, Nebraska. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln prior to attending the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha where he received his Medical Degree.

Dr. Mueller pursued post-graduate training initially at the University of California-Irvine where he completed a General Surgery Residency. Subsequently, he completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Southern California. He established his practice in Beverly Hills in 1998 where he remains today.

He is a leader in his field and has traveled around the world teaching other colleagues his pioneering techniques in plastic surgery. Dr. Mueller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He attends and speaks at many professional meetings around the world and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

His creative talents as an inventor have led to the invention of the first and only light guided technology for cosmetic surgery. (www.ICLEDsurgical.com) The patented ICLED™ Surgical Suture System (formally called the iGuide® Surgical System) utilizes LED light guidance feedback to allow surgeons to perform procedures such as facelifts, neck lifts and brow lifts through small punctures as opposed to large incisions. This minimally invasive approach minimizes risks, complications and procedure times. Patients heal much more quickly and have results that last. The device has been available domestically and internationally since 2009.

In June of 2011, Dr. Mueller broke new ground in medical imaging with first-of-its-kind dynamic imaging technology. During that time period he was submitting his paper for publication that described the use of the light guided surgical system he invented called the ICLED™ Surgical System. His frustration with still photographs and the difficulty of obtaining consistent standardized, publication quality images are what motivated him to build the first oVio360™ Imaging System. Once he installed the first system in his office he soon realized the value of using the imaging in all phases of the patient experience.

The patented oVio360™ Imaging System captures unprecedented state-of-the-art 360-degree life-like video images that capture both physical shape and physiological function of the human face and body. This type of technology remains the first and only to capture life-like dynamic images in a standardized format. The company has placed imaging systems at multiple locations including London, England, and Southern California.

Implicitcare, LLC is the parent company that formed a new company called oVio Technologies in the fall of 2015. oVio Technologies manages the manufacturing, marketing and sales of the oVio360™ Imaging System. Several United States Patents for oVio360™ have been issued with numerous additional patent and trademark applications pending domestically and internationally.
